How we treat each other

Community Guidelines

Last updated 18 September 2026

LeyMeet only works if it feels safe. These are the standards everyone on the app is held to.

Be real

  • Use your own recent photo and your real age.
  • One account per person.
  • No pretending to be someone else, and no asking for money.

Be kind

  • No insults, threats, harassment or hate based on tribe, religion, gender or anything else.
  • If someone stops replying, leave it there.
  • No means no, in chat and in person.

Keep it clean

  • No nudity or sexual photos in profiles.
  • Never any sexual content involving children — this is reported and removed immediately.
  • No selling sex, drugs or weapons.

Stay safe when you meet

  • Chat in the app first and take your time.
  • Meet in a busy public place, in daylight where possible.
  • Tell a friend or family member where you are going and when you will be back.
  • Arrange your own transport and keep your phone charged.
  • Do not share your home address, bank details or mobile money PIN.

Report anything wrong

Tap the shield on someone's card or in a conversation to block or report them. Reports are private. Our moderators review them and can hide or remove accounts. For urgent concerns, email leymeet231@gmail.com. If you are in immediate danger, contact the Liberia National Police.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is, we may warn a member, hide their profile from discovery, or remove their account permanently.
